Birds of a Feather

With feather accessories still big news this A/W, being used in the shows of Gucci, Lanvin and Givenchy, luxury leather goods label Angel Jackson has earned their fashion stripes with this gorgeous bag. Their ethically sourced products are well produced gorgeous pieces, with an edge. I would personally do anything to own this bag, I love it!

Balmain mania hits HP

Settled down in a very packed cinema last night being a huge Harry Potter fan (and not ashamed of it) I was ready to lose my self for two hours into a world of witches and wizards, chocolate frogs, potions lessons and dueling matches but Balmain mania is not only in every magazine and on every fashion website, his greatness has crossed over to the wizarding world. We all know Emma Watson is , hands down, the most stylish member of the cast outside the confides of Hermiones wardrobe but on screen it was Professor McGonagall who stole the show in a pinched shoulder cape that would have looked at home on the catwalks for A/W 09 and would have made Balmain proud.

Street art melts my heart
I love the street art you find down Brick lane, all diverse and unique in its own way just like its very diverse setting. My favourite time for a brick lane visit is a sunny Saturday afternoon when there's a bit of hustle and bustle and lots of things to see when you sit back and people watch with a nice cold cider, heaven!!

Balmain

Beyonce looked fabulous in this Balmain frock at the BET awards and this shoulder scraping trend isn't going anywhere fast. A/W 09 sees other designers such as Nina Ricci and Julien Macdonald following Balmains lead with sculptured shoulders on jackets and dresses alike. My favourite is Balmain's sequined white and black striped jumper with power shoulders! very Parisian with a rock chic edge.
