FFFFOUND!!!

How have I not found this website before?! Possibly the best online archive of an immensely random selection of images ranging from photography, advertising, illustration and graphic design. These are just a few of my favs as I couldn't copy the whole website on to my blog, what a shame.

Central Perk

Central Perk one of T.V's most iconic coffee house came to London last week for two weeks only! The Pop-up coffee shop was to promote the 15th anniversary of the first Friends episode. Coffee was Free, the only price you paid was queuing for over an hour, but it was well worth it. With famous pieces from the show, ranging from Ross list, Rachel's wedding dress, the Geller trophy and Phoebes painting and of course the infamous sofa.

A brilliant marketing strategy to promote the release of a new box set of all ten series with vouchers for £10 off for a limited time. Definitely made me want to buy it and relive all those memories!

Destruction at Diesel

Carnaby Street, October the 6th 2009 and apparently some kind of hurricane has struck.Diesel took the worst blow and is stripped of its paint and its windows are still vibrating from the after shocks! Broken pieces of television, umbrellas and household objects litter the windows with clothes all wound up amongst the mess and inside more objects are caught up in the ceiling.
Such an amazing window display by Diesel and its blatant display of destruction and turmoil makes me think if they are making a nod towards to desperate state of the economy?

All the two's at Electricity Showrooms

All the two's 22 and all eyes down to look at the light up dance floor!
Electricity showrooms in Hoxton Square did not disappoint last night for celebrations of a birthday kind! Upstairs a classic East end pub theme but with a few added extras, a lot of lights! A massive peacock proudly sits above the stairs welcoming you to the club downstairs with one of the best light up dance floors around.
Brilliant night, lots of drinks, dancing and catching up with friends in a very cool place, only down side is it shuts promptly at 1!

"Think a Wonderful thought"

I spotted this beaut of a ring in the latest issue of Elle magazine, I admit I first had to get over my excitement of the amazing red ray-ban frames and the very cute apple bag from River Island but then it was my favourite piece from the shoot!

With the sweet tag line from Peter Pan "Think a Wonderful Thought" I may have to buy it so when I'm bogged down with third year stress I can think many wonderful thoughts.......... and at only £25 quids from ASOS that is a very small price that I am willing to pay to induce happy thoughts!

Disney thoughts reminded me of Stella McCartney's super sweet Bambi shoot for A/W, and of course my disney favourite Robin Hood. Maybe a Stella and Disney couture collaboration is in order.
